Rimmel London The Only 1 Lipstick Review

Allow me to introduce you to Rimmel their The Only One lipstick collection. The entire collection consists of 16 shades ranging from baby pinks all the way up to deep berry purple shades. The idea behind the collection is as the name would suggests, a lipstick that does everything. But have they succeeded? Read on to find out..

I'm sure I'm not alone here when I say I love matte lipsticks but find them really drying on the lips. The Only One lipsticks aim to banish this by bringing highly pigmented lipsticks that contain moisturising ingredients like Vitamin E and Rosa fruit oil to really nourish the lips.

The bullets are made of a black case and have a color strip that indicates which shade is inside. The lipstick has a nice fruity scent like the other Rimmel lipsticks, but it seems to be quite a lot stronger than previous formulations. I personally like the smell, but if you’re sensitive to this you should keep that in mind.

510 Best of the Best
Bright red with slight pink undertones.

620 Call Me Crazy
Super bright orange-red. This is a great non-matte dupe for MAC's Viva Glam Miley Cyrus II, MAC's So Chaud and Kendall Jenner's limited-edition lipstick for Estee Lauder called Restless.

110 Pink A Punch
Bright, almost neon pink with slightly warm undertones.

The lipstick feels super lightweight and moisturizing, yet at the same time is very pigmented, smooth and comfortable. My only critique to this lipstick is the shape of the tip, which doesn't really allow a precise application without taking your time or using a lip brush. Other than that I am super impressed with this line and would definitely recommend giving them a try.

The lipsticks are sold in drugstores and retail for € 11,95.
